WSJ: OpenAI has fired 3 researchers from its safety team for allegedly passing confidential company information to an outside AI-safety organization, according to people familiar with the matter.

An OpenAI spokesperson said an internal investigation confirmed that the 3 handled sensitive information outside company procedures, "breaking the trust essential to our work."
