Uber is giving OpenAI’s ChatGPT Work agent to more than 30,000 employees, 30 times the size of its 1,000-person pilot.
Engineers keep Codex, leaving ChatGPT Work to operations, finance, marketing and product staff, supported by internal skills and training.
Uber hasn’t disclosed the cost or any productivity results.
This rollout lands a month after Uber cut about 3,300 roles, though the company hasn’t linked ChatGPT Work to those cuts.
