Inworld has acquired Ultravox, a platform for building voice agents that listen, reason, call tools, and respond in live conversations, handling turn-taking and interruptions along the way.
Together, the two aim to bring speech understanding, reasoning, and expressive voice generation closer together for speech-to-speech agents.
Built-in Inworld voices on Ultravox now run on Realtime TTS-2.
Existing voice IDs keep working with no migration or code changes.
TTS-2 also adds natural-language steering to Ultravox agents.
