Apple Intelligence is live in China on iOS 27.3 beta, with Alibaba's Qwen where ChatGPT sits.
Two setup steps: enable it (a ~7GB on-device model download), then authorize Qwen.
In testing, Qwen kicked in only when the local model couldn't finish. Some tasks hand off to its app.
