FuseUp is building a global community where scientists, engineers, founders and committed enthusiasts form teams around real scientific, engineering and commercial problems. The problem gives them a shared purpose; their different capabilities give them a way forward.

A researcher in one country, an engineer in another and a company that understands the need can find one another through the same problem. People can contribute because they understand it, have a useful skill or care enough to help pursue an answer.

AI expands what these teams can do. It can help them examine research, write code, use software, analyze data, run simulations and plan experiments.

Computing power and remote laboratory services can connect digital work with physical testing. Human expertise, judgment and care give that work direction.

Companies, foundations, universities and public organizations can publish problems and explain what success means. Teams apply or form around the work. Sponsors and providers can contribute funding,

model-token credits, compute, data, laboratory access and specialist support to selected teams.
The owner and team agree on the requirements before work begins.

The customer or problem owner reviews the result against those requirements, with outside laboratories or specialists contributing evidence where needed. A Proof Receipt records what was tested, who reviewed it, what happened and where the result has limits.

That makes the contribution of AI visible in real work: a design that survives testing, a process that wastes less, or an experiment that reveals what to try next. Useful findings, including well-documented negative results, can help others move forward.

A solution that serves more people can become a product or company. A customer who has experienced its value firsthand may also become the team's first investor.
