Microsoft completely rebuilt Copilot into one super app spanning chat, coding, Office work, and persistent agents.

Autopilot is the bigger functional change because it stays active without repeated prompting, has its own identity, and can act under organization-set permissions.

Microsoft says Scout, its first Autopilot agent, is powered by OpenClaw and connects across Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, browsers, local resources, and MCP servers.

That puts it in the same broad category as Meta's Muse, which can browse, schedule, and carry out tasks through connected services rather than only chat.

Microsoft is also authorizing steeper enterprise discounts of 30% to 50%, aiming to win more seats that can later generate usage revenue.
