Total investment in data centers and related AI infrastructure will reach $10.3 trillion between 2025 and 2032, according to figures published by the Brookings Institution.

That works out to an extraordinary 3.6% of GDP per year on average. No single industry expansion has ever carried this much weight in the U.S. economy.
