Galaxea AI’s R1 Pro is now working at The First People’s Hospital of Kunshan 🤖 As part of its Pioneer Partner Program, Galaxea AI has partnered with Kstelrix to deploy R1 Pro at The First People’s Hospital of Kunshan, where it has been operating for nearly a month across operating rooms, equipment rooms, and wards, handling non-medical tasks such as contaminated instrument transport and ward inspections. Currently, four R1 Pro robots are handling contaminated instrument transport, with each transfer completed within one hour, helping keep downstream processing on schedule. During ward inspections, R1 Pro can operate continuously for more than six hours, covering most of the hospital’s daytime inspection hours. Next, R1 Pro will take on more tasks, including medical waste and contaminated linen transport, post-op instrument counting, operating room cleaning and preparation, and pre-op kit preparation—bringing embodied AI into more frequent, repetitive workflows in a real hospital environment.
