OpenAI's "Grok Bot" ("Aeon") is nearing release. Rumours suggest it will be released before DevDay, perhaps even this week.

GPT-6-Sol is still expected tomorrow, with Anthropic's response being Opus 5.5, along with Sonnet 5.5. Haiku is rumored to be ending, just like Terra.

The rumor mill continues to churn after OpenAI wrote in a blog post today about how surprised they are internally by their own models, and according to The Information, even achieved "Internally, OpenAI has largely automated the process of training new experimental models" (essentially RSI). I'm inclined to believe the rumors that "Bel," the successor to Astra, is already ready as a response to Anthropic's new Fable model.

I really enjoy listening to the rumors, comparing them with news from The Information and other sources, and talking to people about them. One thing's for sure: this week is going to be hot!
