Shopify plans to bring Muse into its stores, while Amazon blocked Muse agent.

Today Meta and Shopify they announced a partnership to enable Shop Pay checkout across Shopify stores. Shopify already lets eligible stores selling to US customers use a Shopify-powered direct checkout on Meta, with orders attributed to Meta.

Shopify acts as a middle layer between the merchant and multiple AI shopping services and keeps a merchant’s product data in one catalog, then shares that same catalog with AI shopping tools like Muse or ChatGPT. So merchants don’t need to upload and maintain their products separately for each AI service.

The merchant maintains the product data once, while Shopify handles much of the connection to each AI service.
