The most useful AI metric is sometimes not how much faster an expert became.
It is how many people can now finish a workflow they previously would never have attempted.
Pocket FM has an interesting case of that with Sherpa.
Their shift to AI production increased annual content output from roughly 35,000 hours to 2.5 million hours. Thats ~400,000 new stories.
Turning one story idea into a long-running audio series is not a single generation problem. You have to structure dozens of episodes, keep characters and plotlines consistent as the story grows, produce the audio, and eventually publish it.
Sherpa moves more of that process behind a story-level interface.
The person starts with the idea and keeps directing the story, while the product handles more of the production path around it.
Pocket FM says more than 300K creators have published their first stories, roughly 90% of them first-time creators.
