Stanford deep learning for computer Vision taught by Professor Fei-Fei Li ( @drfeifei )
"Evolutionary forces drives intelligence to evolve because of the onset of senses, because of the onset of vision, along with haptics or tactile sensing.
Those are the 2 most, the oldest senses for animals. So that entire course of 540 million years of evolution of vision is the evolution of intelligence.
Vision, as one of the primary senses of animals, drove the development of nervous system, the development of intelligence. Almost all animals on Earth today we know of have vision, or use vision as one of the primary senses."
