Enhance Frame Rate converts any video to the frame rate your delivery pipeline requires, ensuring anything you create is production-ready.
Today, we’re introducing Enhance Frame Rate: a new model that allows you to convert any video — whether or not the video was generated on Runway — to 25, 30, 48, 60 or 120 fps, including NTSC's 59.94 standard, without ever leaving the platform.
Enhance Frame Rate runs up to seven times faster and three times cheaper than other interpolation models, with higher output quality. Along with Runway Ruby, our recent SDR-to-HDR upscaler model, you can now take any generated clip from first draft to production-ready.
Match Any Delivery Spec
Frame rate can be the difference between a clip that drops straight into a timeline and one that needs a manual conform pass first. Enhance Frame Rate handles the conversion directly, across any use case, from broadcast and streaming delivery to motion design, VFX pipelines and post-production editorial work. That includes precise specs like the UK's mandated 25 fps broadcast standard.
Built for Production
Enhance Frame Rate runs on any generated video up to 4K resolution and five minutes in length, and holds the source resolution through conversion. The model costs one credit for every two seconds of video, regardless of resolution or target frame rate.
At launch, output options run from 25 to 120 fps. Support for additional frame rates is on the way.
