GLM-5’s February launch drove a tenfold demand surge, exhausting spare compute within a week and forcing a halt to Coding Plan sales, the company told investors.

It has now completed a $5B financing, mostly debt, following July’s $4B raise. The funds expand compute capacity to support business growth and larger models.
