🏫 What AI changes in a school day Three primary schools in Hong Kong have signed an MoU with QwenWork, becoming among the first primary schools in the city to bring AI into everyday teaching and school operations. The Church of Christ in China Kei Tsz Primary School, Lok Sin Tong Leung Wong Wai Fong Memorial School, and Ma On Shan Ling Liang Primary School will serve as AI pilot schools — exploring how AI can support teachers, students, and the wider school community, with QwenWork helping turn these possibilities into everyday use, starting with a QwenWork education workshop for Hong Kong teachers held today. For teachers, QwenWork helps turn text, images, audio, and video into ready-to-use teaching materials, making lesson preparation faster and easier. AI can also support routine administrative work, giving teachers more time to focus on students. For students, AI becomes something they can build with. In IT and STEAM classes, they will use AI and cloud tools to create their own websites, apps, games, and digital content. Across the school, AI can support real-time translation at events and help make everyday workflows more efficient. All teaching staff will also take part in professional development programmes and hands-on AI workshops, so adoption starts with the people who will use it every day. At Kei Tsz Primary School, more than half of the teaching staff will begin using AI in their daily work from day one.
