Claude for Small Business now includes 43 workflows and 27 new integrations with tools small businesses already use, including Shopify, Salesforce, TikTok, Atlassian, Zoom, Xero, Gusto, Square, Stripe, and Zapier. The new workflows extend Claude from running the back office to growing the business, and they arrive with a fall schedule of free in-person workshops and partner webinars for owners who want help getting started.
We launched Claude for Small Business in May as a set of connectors and ready-to-run workflows that put Claude inside the tools owners depend on. It has since been installed more than 900,000 times. Thank you to our original, and continued, partners Intuit Quickbooks, PayPal, HubSpot, Canva, Docusign, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365.On our spring Claude SMB Tour, more than 1,000 owners in 10 cities told us what they wanted Claude to take on next. About a third asked for help growing the business: generating leads, answering inbound inquiries, and writing proposals. Many also wanted day-to-day reporting handled for them. We built this new release around those requests.
The tour returns this fall with free workshops in 10 US cities. More than 150 organizations we've trained as Approved Claude SMB Trainers will run over 750 workshops in their own communities, and 14 integration partners are hosting free webinars about their connectors.
Here's what small business leaders shared with us during the first leg of our Claude SMB tour:
“What used to take me 120 hours now takes me five minutes. I have so much time on my hands that I can now spend more time with my family, do things I like, and pursue parts of my business that I’ve always neglected.” — Pedro Rubio, Founder and CEO, Blackfyre GovCon, Washington, D.C.
"I really see Claude as an equalizer for small businesses, where we can do stuff as big as a 100 person, 200 person firm now. At 40 people and scaling, that's how we get time back for our clients and culture." — Cara Roellgen, Director of Strategy and Innovation, KBSO Consulting, Carmel, Indiana
"At 6:00 am every morning, it goes and looks through our CRM, gets all of the to-do list items, prioritizes them, and sends out an email saying, here's what needs to be done today, here's the biggest priorities. We call it the daily briefing." — Garrett French, Owner, Driller Design Co., Tulsa, Oklahoma
"I made $20,000 in the last month and a half using Claude to do these professional proposals. I know that's getting the business, and it put money in my bank account. How about that?" — Dan Ninerell, Founder, Modern Classical Chefs, South Jersey, New Jersey
"We tell it [Claude] what the end goal is. It goes and tests, and 90% of the time it gets it right. We're a five-person company. I think we've done quite a bit with it." — Bill Hood, Co-Founder, TruckingMBA, Chattanooga, Tennessee
"The thing that makes it most beneficial to us are the integrations. We use Slack, and that's how we talk to it. It integrates with Intuit QuickBooks. It's pulling everything from everywhere instead of us having to find different pieces of information all over. It's all in one place." — Kati Jo Hodges, Director of Operations, Premier Geotech and Testing, Baton Rouge, Louisiana
A week with Claude for Small Business
Here’s a week-in-the-life of a small business owner using Claude to run and grow their business, inspired by how small business owners are using Claude today.

Claude for Small Business runs in Claude Cowork, the desktop app where Claude works directly with your files and connected tools. The plugin can also set each workflow to run on a schedule you choose.

6
cafés run from one consolidated view
Juanny Romero, founder and CEO of Mothership Coffee Roasters, runs six cafés plus wholesale and catering in Las Vegas. Her numbers lived in the POS, Intuit QuickBooks, Slack, and email with no single weekly view. She connected them to Claude, made Claude her leadership team's workspace for forecasting and weekly planning, and now runs all six locations from one consolidated view. In-store margins rose to 22%, which she credits in part to tighter scheduling, ordering, and inventory reporting.

Responding to inbound leads
A catering inquiry arrives after close through your website, email, or chat. Claude qualifies it, drafts a reply with two real openings from your calendar, and logs it to your CRM. If you've let this workflow run on its own, you see it Tuesday morning already booked; otherwise the reply is waiting for your OK.

At Bambi Baby, a family-owned baby stroller and car seat retailer, about three in four walk-in shoppers left without providing a name or an email. COO Josh Weiss, who is not a developer, used Claude to build a scan-to-wishlist lead capture and the follow-up behind it. In the tool's first four days, $60,000 in sales tied back to it. Two weeks into a two-store pilot, 18% of online revenue was newly attributed to in-person visits.

Weeks → minutes
from scoping a deal to a statement of work out for signature
KANE, a creative and growth agency in Princeton, New Jersey, used to spend weeks per deal on scoping, pricing, proposal writing, and contracting. Co-founders Michael and Joni Kazantzis built a Claude pipeline that scores fit from the meeting notes, prices from their own past projects, drafts the proposal, and has the statement of work out for signature within minutes of a yes. “We've taken an entire process that used to take us weeks and it's done almost within a few minutes in a day, and even the clients recognize that,” Michael Kazantzis said.

Rebel Cheese
Kirsten Maitland, co-founder and CEO · Austin
Kirsten Maitland, co-founder and CEO, launched Rebel Cheese, an Austin plant-based cheesemaker that went from one restaurant to a national e-commerce business after appearing on Shark Tank. The brand voice lived in her head and couldn't scale past her own hours. After vetting Claude on data security, she trained a voice skill on her own writing and connected it to her email and social tools. A teammate now drafts on-brand campaigns without routing every line through the founder. “I live in Claude, running multiple instances simultaneously across two computers to keep up with demand,” she said.

Month end
Closing the books
Claude reconciles your books against every place money moves: sales settlements, card spend, and payroll. It flags mismatches down to the transaction, writes a plain-English P&L, and creates a close packet for your accountant. If one account never reconciles cleanly because your POS has no connector, Claude reaches it through Zapier or builds a connector, and the adjustment your bookkeeper makes by hand becomes a saved step in next month's close.

HireEffect

16
transactions isolated behind a $13,000 discrepancy
10 seconds
for a monthly reporting task that used to take two hours
HireEffect, a Dallas firm that runs bookkeeping, payroll, and HR for small businesses nationwide, had a client whose books carried a $13,000 discrepancy buried in two and a half years and tens of thousands of PayPal transactions. COO Chris Scott used Claude to isolate the exact 16 transactions responsible. “It was literally a needle in a haystack. There's no way we'd have found it without this,” says Founder and CEO Jennifer Scott.
They also built a governed reporting dashboard across five disparate systems, including QuickBooks and a CRM, that turned a two-hour monthly task into ten seconds; their Director of Bookkeeping built her own skill that turns a client P&L into a visual summary with discussion points already flagged.

“With Shopify in Claude for Small Business, merchants run their store where they already plan the week—see live sales and inventory, get a reorder drafted before a bestseller sells out, and turn the product catalog into next week’s campaign. The repetitive work comes off their plate so they can focus on growing.”
Archie Abrams, VP Product
“With Stripe in Claude for Small Business, we’re helping small business owners delegate more of the day-to-day financial work, from monitoring cash flow and following up on invoices to spotting new opportunities for growth, while staying in control of every decision.”
Maia Josebachvili, Chief Revenue Officer of AI
“Running a small business means constantly translating conversations into work: updating a CRM, starting a project, getting an invoice out the door. With Zoom and Bonsai in Claude for Small Business, Zoom captures what was said and Bonsai turns it into the work, ready for the owner's OK. Owners get the follow-through, not just a summary of the call.”
Ross Mayfield, Head of Product, AI Partnerships
"If you're a small business owner, you know payroll and compliance have to be right every time, and getting there eats hours you'd rather spend on the business. Claude for Small Business now handles the prep with Gusto: confirms there's cash to cover the run, pulls the hours, flags anything off, and stages it. You still review and approve before any action is taken.”
Chris Cosgrove, Head of Product
"Small business owners wear every hat, and organizing the work is often the heaviest one. With Jira, Confluence, Loom, and Trello in Claude for Small Business, that weight lifts: Claude and the Atlassian connector plan the week, track the campaign, and turn the tasks owners repeat into workflows they don't have to rebuild. Those are hours they'd rather spend with their customers."
Tamar Yehoshua, Chief Product and AI Officer
"Xero is focused on bringing trusted financial data to small businesses and their accountants wherever they work. With Xero in Claude for Small Business, owners have a real-time source of truth on their numbers right in the conversation, so they can make better-informed decisions and have deeper conversations with their advisors."
Akankshu Dhawan, SVP Product and Tech
“Small businesses don't need more tools, they need more time, more leads, and more confidence that the work is moving the needle. With HubSpot in Claude for Small Business, every new lead gets answered, followed up, and logged to the CRM, so owners can focus on their customers instead of their operations.”
Kipp Bodnar, Chief Marketing Officer
“The hard part of outbound for a small business is knowing who to contact and why they'd care. Clay does that homework inside Claude for Small Business: finds the prospects, scores them against your best customers, and tells you what to lead with. The owner decides who hears from them."
Kareem Amin, Co-founder and CEO
“Small businesses often struggle to compete with larger enterprises that have massive technical teams. With Zapier in Claude for Small Business, we’re helping them even the odds: owners can connect the apps they already use, including ones without a native connector, and put those workflows to work.”
Dan Slagen, Chief Marketing and AI Transformation Officer
"Receipts, reimbursements, and the card statement are where a small business's books fall apart. Expensify in Claude for Small Business codes and matches transactions the moment they hit, catches anything outside policy before it becomes a problem, and hands you books that are ready to close at month-end. Business finance is becoming a conversation, not a spreadsheet. This is what that looks like."
Nick Tooker, Head of Partnerships
“Post-meeting action items, identifying leads to call, what the month-end close turned up: Claude helps teams set their tasks and priorities, but then someone actually needs to go ahead and make them happen. The monday.com connector in Claude for Small Business places each of these items on your board with all the context, assigns the right owner, and keeps track of progress so the entire team can ensure its goals are being met.”
Sergei Liakhovetsky, VP R&D
“Small businesses run on conversations, and every call, text and chat carries context an owner doesn't have time to go back and find. RingCentral with Claude for Small Business changes that. We're making your conversation data accessible and actionable where you already work, turning interaction context into next steps: the after-hours voicemail or chat message becomes a qualified lead with a reply drafted by morning, and the customer's full history is on screen before the renewal call. Every RingCentral customer gets that.”
Kira Makagon, President and COO
“Lead generation, outreach, and pipeline used to take an entire go-to-market team. Now, business owners can describe who they sell to once, and Apollo's GTM engine inside Claude for Small Business builds the ranked prospect list, drafts outreach for their approval, and keeps the pipeline full, all in one conversation."
Matt Curl, CEO
"Small businesses need AI that turns intent into action. That's why we're bringing Wix's website builder and business platform into Claude for Small Business, so users can build their website and manage their business, all directly where they're already working."
Tuvit Rubin Kaplan, Head of Developer Platform
"With Airwallex now integrated in Claude for Small Business, simple prompts are all it takes for an owner to accept payments, convert currencies to pay global suppliers, manage their cash flow, and a lot more."
Jason Gottlieb, VP of Financial & Strategic Partnerships
“Every business owner needs confidence in the numbers they're working from, whether they're checking cash flow, preparing for tax time or planning for growth. MYOB in Claude for Small Business helps ensure the insights and actions businesses receive are grounded in the financial and operational records they already rely on every day. The result is AI that can provide more relevant guidance and practical support for Australian and New Zealand businesses.”
Yonatan Bley, General Manager, SME Product and Product Marketing
Built for trust
Half the owners we surveyed on the spring tour named data security as their biggest hesitation about using AI. Here's how controls work:
- By default, you decide what runs, and when. Every workflow starts in approval mode. Claude drafts the work and stages it, then waits for your OK. Once you’re comfortable with a workflow, you can let it run on its own. You make that choice one workflow at a time and can switch it back whenever you want.
- Some workflows stop short of the last step. For instance, Claude stages payroll in Gusto for you to submit.
- Your existing software permissions hold. If an employee can’t see something in Intuit QuickBooks or Google Drive today, they can’t see it through Claude.
- By default, we don’t train on your business data on Team and Enterprise plans.
Full details are in our Trust Center.

We have also begun identifying SMB-focused consulting partners and system integrators in our Claude Partner Network, beginning with A.team, AnswerRocket, Bold Tech, Caylent, First Line Software, Grid Dynamics, LightCI, Loka, Praecipio, Rosetree Solutions, and The Agile Monkeys, and plan to add more.
In the coming weeks, we’ll be announcing community-run Claude workshops hosted by Approved Claude SMB Trainers, who were trained via dedicated, Tenex and Anthropic-hosted “Train the Trainer” events in San Francisco and New York City this summer.
This fall, the companies behind our integrations will also teach small business owners how to use Claude with the tools they already run on. In the Claude for Small Business partner webinar series, 14 technology partners will each host a free, live webinar on their connector from late September through November. Each session covers what the connector can do inside Claude, how your data moves between the tool and Claude, and a workflow you'll run live before the session ends.

Partnering with the community
We believe AI adoption among small businesses could have significant public benefit through economic growth and employment. That’s why our Beneficial Deployments team works with organizations that support small business owners and entrepreneurs.
We're partnering with Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses, the widely recognized leader in practical education for small business owners, which has helped more than 19,000 entrepreneurs across the United States grow their businesses and create jobs. Together, we're creating a new learning series on applied AI for small businesses. Globally, we're a founding partner of IncuVersity, a new Program from The DO that aims to help 20,000 early-career entrepreneurs build businesses with Claude over the coming years. And we are partnering with Echoing Green, which backs early-stage social entrepreneurs around the world, as they incorporate Claude into their new AI-focused programming.
