Reuters: Bernie Sanders, one of Washington’s fiercest opponents of AI, is joining Steve Bannon to demand restrictions on AI they believe could become dangerous enough to threaten human control.

Both are scheduled for the Future of Life Institute’s Pro-Human Assembly

Steve Bannon is already an official endorser of the Pro-Human AI Declaration, which calls for stopping superintelligence development until broad scientific consensus and public backing exist.
