This morning and went through a tiny emotional roller coaster after opening X. At first, I saw that my appeal for the Creator Program had been rejected. But shortly afterward, I also saw a reply from Satya Nadella, and that alone made me extremely happy ❤️

These small interactions are one of the core values X brings to its users. I’ll continue publishing as much AI news as I can, partly because it increases the chances of having more interactions like this.

At the same time, my appeal was rejected exactly 3 business days after I submitted it, on a Sunday, right around the stated deadline. That makes it feel like another automatic rejection.

Even with my first application, I could easily select 10 posts highlighting early features that hadn't appeared anywhere else on the internet, including videos I recorded myself. However, I can also see how this type of content could easily be flagged as non-original if it is reviewed without understanding the context.

If this rejection came from a manual review, the alternative would be equally disappointing. It would effectively mean that I should focus almost exclusively on leaked or unreleased features because those are considered "original," while ignoring the rest of the AI news cycle.

But many official news announcements are direct follow-ups to unreleased features I reported on earlier. They are part of the same story.
