Get started with X in Grok Bot

Your bots can use X, the everything app, now!

Pull customer feedback from mentions, summarize what’s going on into a short brief, triage your DM’s. Connect once in Grok Bot to get going! We’ll also set you up with some X credits if you do!

Connect X

To get started, you’ll need a paid Grok Bot plan, an X account you can sign in with, and a few minutes for the connect flow. Goto X plugin here, or follow:

1. Open Grok Bot and go to Marketplace.

1. Search X and click Add

1. Sign in with the X account you want the bot to use

1. Keep going until Accounts shows Connected

If you do not have an X developer account yet, connecting will create one for you!

What you can ask for

Once you are Connected, try asks like these:

• “Draft a short post about my Grok Bot setup”

• “Search recent posts about Grok Bot and summarize the themes”

• “Skim mentions or the home timeline into a daily digest”

• “Pull trends, then bookmark what I might find interesting”

The connector also unlocks bots that live on your timeline. One I use: X Scout learns how I work, watches X for Grok Bot setups worth copying, and brings back the ones that fit me.

When Grok Bot publishes a post on X, the post shows a Made with AI label, like here:

In this case, I was replying to a bunch of user questions from a long thread. Grok Bot could pull all replies, cluster them, and let me write a reply to each cluster. Then automate the actual posting for me! Neat
