This was wild: I asked Fable to make a website of the Catalog of Ships from the Iliad, something I did with GPT-4. It did a beautiful job: https://catalogue-of-ships.netlify.app/
...but it also identified that Butler's version of the Iliad actually made two mistakes in the Greek translation!
Digital humanities is about to be wild. I pasted in the Catalog of Ships from the Iliad, and asked GPT with Code Interpreter to map the origins of the Greeks. With hiccups, it extracted solid information from the text, found modern locations & started building an interactive map在 X 查看被引用的帖子
